These pictures are a record of my life: Probably a rather vain exercise, although it all started with the best possible intentions!

I had been considering putting a photo on the site but until now had resisted. A couple of people I haven't seen in a long while asked what I look like now (Have I changed?) so it seemed it could be worthwhile. But . . .

I was working on some basic content management applications and needed some images with associated text to display - a preview gallery with full-size images and text data linked to it. When I started to look around for material, amongst the thousands of colour slides and all the boxes of prints available to scan, I found it difficult to find many of myself. So a quest began to locate a picture for each year and this - as it turns out - is the best I could do, as at August 2008 anyway.

So its gone from no photos at all, not to one recent photo but to a lot of photos.
