About fear and phobiaEveryone is frightened from time to time - that's a natural reaction to the hazards we have to deal with. But often fear can be inappropriate and that can stop us doing the things we might otherwise enjoy - we can't enjoy a holiday in a far-off resort when we are afraid of flying and aichmophobia can ruin embroidery as a hobby since it is a dreadful fear of needles as well as other sharp objects. Modern techniques based on neuro-linguistic programming mean many of these conditions can be eradicated very quickly. With hypnotherapy the fast phobia technique can literally remove a phobia during a single session. That may require a little preparation beforehand and some support afterwards. But many sufferers have their fear of flying treated effectively during the week before they go on holiday! While it's best not to leave it until the last minute, this does show just how effective NLP can be when used during hypnotherapy. If you hate it today you really could be enjoying it this time next week! |
